TA duties may include: marking student work, helping individuals and small groups during tutorial meetings, holding office hours, and monitoring the course forum.
Must be enrolled in, or have completed, and undergraduate program in computer science (or equivalent). Demonstrated excellent communication skills. Willing to try different approaches when explaining simple concepts. Familiar with the Python programming language (or other procedural language). Demonstrated experience with predicate and propositional logic, and the formal definitions of asymptotic bounds. Must be able to grade proofs, including ones describing the asymptotic behaviour of code. Must be available during regular business hours to fulfill TA duties.
