Duties for the position may vary and include: extensive availability on the UTSC campus for meetings with professor and students, grading long essays, administrative/clerical duties, office hours/email contact with students, invigilating exams, marking exams/essays, managing blackboard, and composing test questions.
Includes: ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position and appropriate background in the subject/specialty, specifically strong and extensive background in history of psychology and its theories/theorists. Applicant should have course work in ancient Greek philosophers, the influence of European scholars from the 15C-19C, and 20C schools of thought, such as psychoanalysis, functionalism, structuralism, gestalt, behaviourism, and phenomenology. Applicants must have excellent writing skills.
