Duties

Designing and conducting weeklytutorials (check UTSC timetable- you MUST be available to lead your assigned weekly tutorial - please include your availability with your application), designing quizzes, invigilating exams, marking exams/quizzes, having office hours andanswering student emails, clerical and administrative duties, conductingreview sessions.

Qualifications

Includes: ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position and appropriatebackground in the subject/specialty, specifically strong statistical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Applicantsmust know the fundamentals of the theory and the application of statistical procedures usedin research in the field of psychology. Applicants must have course work withdescriptive statistics (from simple tests of significance, such as Chi-Square, t-tests, and one-way Analysis-of-Variance, algebra). Aninterview with the professor may be required to assess that applicant has appropriate knowledge for position.
