Duties

Teaching responsibilities will include: lecturing one half of course (either from May-June or July to August); holding regular weekly office hours for students; and handling student inquiries. Working with the other three instructors, responsibilities will include: preparing syllabus and making it available to students; setting marking scheme; creating problem sets for assignments / quizzes / tests /; maintaining blackboard or course website; reviewing TA responsibilities / contracts and determining the allocation of hours during course; communicating with TA’s regarding duties via emails or regular face to face meeting; being present for final exam; All instructors are expected to collaborate together in creating and marking the final exams. Additional duties may be required as directed by the Undergraduate Administrator or the Associate Chair, Undergraduate.
