Duties

Teaching a course titled “Foundations of Social Work: Knowledge, Theory & Values that Inform Practice” based on the approved course outline. The course content, readings, and assignments are uniform across all sections. Work with the teaching team and course coordinator, attend regular instructors meetings, blackboard management, and be available during regular office hours for student advising and consultation. Assess student performance through grading assignments and submit recommendations to the course coordinator by required date.

Qualifications

Knowledge of, and experience in teaching social work theories, ethics, values and the context of practice. Social work practice experience will be an asset. Preference may be given to candidates who have the most experience teaching in this area at the graduate level.
